We pretty much have any bag for business or pleasure, said owner Michael Adler. We have high-end and mid-range pieces that we sell as a set or individually. We have some brand names you won't find anywhere else in Columbus.

The ever-changing inventory includes brand names such as Bill Blass and Kenneth Cole, with offerings including standard luggage, attaché cases, business cases, backpacks, duffel bags on wheels, purses, gift items, laptop computer cases, cell phone and personal digital assistant cases, garment bags, Pullman cases on wheels, travel packs, carry-on luggage, children's luggage, train cases, makeup cases, daily planners, calculators, checkbook covers, organizers, wallets, travel kits, cosmetic cases, men's shuttle bags, large compact disk storage cases and other accessories.

Adler's preference of buying large quantities of items enables him to offer merchandise at exceedingly affordable prices, prompting shoppers to purchase items for their own requirements and as gifts for others.

It has always been my philosophy that if I sell in volume, the customer is happy and it secures our business if the customer gets a good value, Adler explained. Our inventory changes all the time. We have nice luggage at incredible prices and hope someone who buys luggage for business will tell others at their convention about us or maybe even decide to take a family vacation utilizing newly acquired purchases from his shop.

Adler Luggage & Travelgoods is temporarily operating in a space on the first level of the Convention Center Food Court & Shops until the end of April. The business will then move to its more spacious permanent location just a few steps away.

Pretty much everything we have is on wheels, said Adler. And if someone has items to ship from a conference held here, they can buy a bag for shipping and have something to keep after their trip.
