Luggage Locks – Available In Various Designs

If you are heading to the airport and feel uncomfortable about traveling with your luggage unlocked, consider purchasing one of the new locking devices approved by the Transportation Security Administration.

The locks are available in various designs in key or combination models and are made by different manufacturers. Prices for each lock range from $3 to $11 plus tax. All of the approved locks carry a red diamond-shaped logo to certify to screeners that they meet the new standards.

TSA screeners have been trained to open the new certified locks when necessary, and relock them after inspecting bags.
